Fight Bladder Cancer

If you, or someone you know, has been diagnosed with bladder cancer then Fight Bladder Cancer offer help and support.

Your first step in getting support should be your medical team. From your consultant and GP to your specialist clinical support nurse, they are there to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about your treatment. In some instances, your medical team may also include a psychiatrist to help you with emotional issues.

Sometimes though, your may have a question you want to ask that pops into your head in the middle of the evening, or over the weekend.

You might not want to, or be able to, share everything about how you feel with your family and friends as you come to terms with your diagnosis. Sometimes, you need to talk to someone who you can speak totally openly to, about the good and the bad.

It's also extremely helpful to chat through what is happening with someone who has also dealt with all the tests, survived treatment and started to plan for life afterwards.

Fight Bladder Cancer offer a confidential chat forum and patient support groups.
